Radio Antiqua (FR)

Radio Antiqua was founded in The Hague in 2012 by a group of young international musicians specialized in the performance of early music on period instruments. Winner of both jury’s and public’s prize at the International Händel-Festspiele Göttingen Competition 2014, it has been invited as Artist in Residence of the Centre Culturel of Ambronay (France), Collegio Ghislieri in Pavia (Italy), and Károlyi-Kastély (Hungary). The 5 members of Radio Antiqua, a young a promising ensemble supported by eeemerging, will form the core of the European Baroque Academy. 15 young musicians recruited individually will join them to constitute the orchestra.

Radio Antiqua members will find themselves in the dual educational roles of trainees (under the direction of the conductor) and tutors (with regard to the young colleagues recruited individually).
